Building a Future With Fauna 

Fauna First is a small, family-run business founded by me, Jordan, alongside my partner Amber and our beautiful children, Maisie and Jaxson. Together, we’re dedicated to helping native Australian wildlife in any way we can.

I can’t remember a time when animals weren’t a part of my life. My mum worked as a veterinary nurse and often brought home animals needing round-the-clock care. It was through her that my love for animals first blossomed.

Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, I have been actively involved in wildlife work since 2018, when I joined a local Wildlife Rescue program. Not long after, I began catching and relocating snakes while completing my apprenticeship. 

​

When an opportunity arose to work for an environmental consultancy, I jumped at the chance, especially with our first child Maisie on the way. This allowed me to broaden my skills across a wide range of native wildlife management practices.

Now, with our second child, Jaxson, and having relocated ourselves to the Woodford region, our family is excited to continue supporting the community and applying our knowledge and care to protect the incredible fauna we live alongside.
